Ken joined CVF in 2013 as an advisor and started in 2014 as a Venture Partner. In addition, Ken is an entrepreneurship lecturer, Managing Director of Cornell’s student accelerator program eLab, member of Launch New York’s investment committee and Director of Hardware Entrepreneurship at Ithaca’s business incubator Rev. Ken previously co-founded a software engineering startup in Toronto and joined an early stage online media company as President and COO. Both businesses were successfully exited and in both cases Ken held SVP roles with acquiring firm for 5+ years.
Ken has worked in various industries including computer graphics, financial services, telecom, and media. Ken’s current interests include the renaissance in hardware products enabled by advances in desktop manufacturing, electronics, and small-scale manufacturing.
